It’s an exciting time because Adobe have just released the latest website authoring tools that most website designers and developers use everyday.

I cannot think of day when I do not use Photoshop or Dreamweaver. As I write this post, they are both open.

The industry standard for web design is Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver. For over 10 years, web developers have used Dreamweaver to build all sorts of web pages.

What is Dreamweaver for Website Developers?
Adobe Dreamweaver, formerly know as Macromedia Dreamweaver has been leading the web authoring industry. I remember using some of the earlier versions of Dreamweaver to build my first websites. The amateurs used Microsoft Frontpage and the professionals used Dreamweaver.

What is new with Website Designing Software – Adobe Dreamweaver CS5?
Dreamweaver has come a long way since it was first released and supports many different programming languages such as PHP, MySQL and CSS. It is more feature rich than ever before, using visual tools to help designers build professional websites.

What is Photoshop for Website Designers?
Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for creating graphics for the web. It was and still is used by many graphic designers but Adobe have created another tools for them, such as Adobe InDesign. Adobe have made Photoshop to be more web graphic friendly with many built-in tools to optimise website graphics for the web.

What is new in Photoshop CS 5 for Website Designers?
A surprise new feature for Photosho for CS5 is the addition for 3D graphics. Many websites today use 3D graphics to create depth in their presentations.

I am surprised to see 3D as the biggest addon for Photoshop but I wouldn’t discredit Adobe for not knowing where the industry is going.

What about HTML5?
Adobe have just released a HTML5 to add to CS5. In case you do not know, most websites today are coded in HTML4 standard. HTML5 is now coming main stream with a lot of new features. It has taken over 10 years for the experts to agree to the new standard but things are now finally progressing.

Wrap Up
I am sure there are a lot of other features that I am yet to explore but it is always exciting to get the latest release of Photoshop and Dreamweaver – the industry tools for any website designer.
