Blogging News: WordPress 3.0 Is Now Available
WordPress is open source software and one of the major players for blog publishing software. This blog was created with WordPress as well as many of the largest blogs in the world.
Wordpress 3.0 became available in June and is ready to download and install.
The new features include -
- Post editor styling
- Custom backgrounds
- Custom headers
- Drag and drop mane mangement
- Wordpress login form
- Custom post types
- Author specific template
- WPMU and WordPress
If you are unsure what all these features mean, let me explain it simply for you.
The new version is more flexible allowing the blog post to be more customised than the standard template used on every page. The minor features creates better flow and a more polished blogging platform.
Why Blog?
Blogging allows you to educate your customers, show them that you are knowledgeable and give your website higher rankings in the search engines. Google loves fresh content and ranks quality content higher.
Have you thought of creating a blog?
I have created blogs for a number of our customers with some great results. It does take time and effort to setup and maintain a blog. You may not see any results for up to 6 months but in the end, it’s worth it.
I have learned so much by publishing my blog. It has forced me to keep up-to-date with the industry, analyse the changes happening and predict what the future holds to help my customers.
