Yahoo Launches Advertising Solutions Portal

Do you advertise on Yahoo? Not as many people advertise on Yahoo and Bing which means cheaper rates for traffic compared to the sometimes over-competitive Google Adwords.

Yahoo Search attracts a different kind of traffic audience as well. Just like Bing users are sometimes more beginner types because they use Internet Explorer and do not know how to change their search engine preferences in their browser. They are just happy to use any search engine that is conveniently located in the browser.

Foursquare 2.0 for the iPhone Has Arrived

Foursquare is probably something you may never have heard of. In Australia, it is relatively unknown. Only early adopters are currently using it but it’s usage is rising.

Foursquare allows you to check in to places and businesses, leave comments, make suggestions to friends – very similar to Facebook Places.

I believe Foursquare will be a very big thing in Australia within the next 12 months. It’s taking the US by storm. It has grown from 50,000 to 2.5 million within a year.

It allows you to easily share where you are, what you’re doing and the friends you’re with right from your mobile.

You can see who is in your area and catch up with your friends. You will never miss an opportunity to meet a friend when you were so close to them.
