Having worked in the industry for so long, I have followed the eCommerce boom from the very beginning, I have seen trends develop and technology advance. Over the years I have helped over 900 clients with their eCommerce businesses. I have worked across most Ecommerce platforms and have a passion for all things digital.
Today, I’m the CEO of a Sydney based digital agency (which I founded in 1997). Through this I have been lucky enough to follow the journeys of many online retails that have grown from being small garage operated businesses, to now own multiple warehouses and turn over millions of dollars.
In addition to my eCommerce technology and strategy skills, I also have a deep knowledge in hosting infrastructure. I have built and managed my own cloud hosting infrastructure and helped set up customised hosting solutions for a range of different businesses.
Having majored in Business Systems at Uni, I have worked with many of the leading software providers (Xero, Termando, Unleashed etc) and love planning and executing new eCommerce system integrations.
In November of 1997, I founded the digital agency AVS Networks and have since worked closely with eCommerce businesses in all industries and of all sizes. In the early years, AVS was mainly focused on building hosting solutions (in a time when web-hosting was still a fairly unknown concept!), and over the years, grew to a full service digital agency.
In 2001, I graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communications Technology majoring in Business Information Systems and Electronic Commerce.
I was recently nominated as a finalist for the Business Excellence Young Entrepreneur Award.
Areas of expertise
I consult on all areas of eCommerce and Web Hosting. Together we can work out a strategy to make your eCommerce site more profitable.
I regularly provide expert commentary on eCommerce related matters and have been featured in publications such as The Sydney Morning Herald, Power Retail and on A Current Affair.
If you need expert consulting on a specific project, such as planing a suitable hosting infrastructure or planning a new system integration, I can work with you for the duration of the project at an agreed fee.
If you need someone to call on for ad-hoc eCommerce advice, I can be that guy! I work with many eCommerce managers who just need someone to bounce ideas with. I charge for these services on an hourly fee basis or a set retainer fee.
If you need regular consulting we can meet up on a regular basis, every week, every month or quarterly. I can be part of your advisory board and give input from a tech/eCommerce perspective.

- We carefully researched Web Development and eCommerce providers because we’d previously had some less than reliable experiences. When we spoke with Nigel, we were impressed with the fast response time. But what really sold me was that I was impressed with his knowledge and his willingness to take all the time required to share his […]
